The kit is intended for repair of the hydraulic section of the mechatronics, where material fatigue and the formation of microcracks in the pressure accumulator housing lead to loss of hydraulic pressure or oil leakage, resulting in improper shifting, jerky take-off or the transmission entering emergency mode. Typical symptoms of the fault include stored transmission control unit error codes, most commonly P17BF (hydraulic pump protection – excessive play), P189C (pressure accumulator malfunction) and other faults related to low hydraulic pressure.
